Tim Blast started his career as a music composer in 2014 when he composed music for a feature film called BORN WILD (Universal). Since then he has been fine-tuning the art of modern cinematic music composition by fusing traditional orchestral music with hybrid elements such as metal, EDM, pop, dubstep, trap,  drum’n’bass and many more.

Tim owns a recording/production studio in Los Angeles, where he works on getting the best sounding pieces of music and sound design to fit the constantly evolving industry standards.

Tim plays many unique instruments such as 9 string guitar, 5 string electric cello, extended range fretless bass, electric violin, Celtic whistle, Kazakh dombra, 8 string Spanish guitar, as well as traditional piano, drums, flute, glockenspiel,  29 string harp and harmonica.

Tim Blast has worked on many different projects, from films to virtual reality video games. Some of his credits include: A MERMAID’S TALE (Universal Pictures, Netflix), PAWPARAZZI (Lionsgate, Hulu, Amazon), FIVE PIECE (Hulu, HBO), 11 DAYS (Amazon Prime), Remnants (HBO shorts), LUCY (Bear fruit productions), and many more.

Tim is fluent in English, Russian, Spanish and Japanese.
